A man with a guitar in his hand and a sign that reads, “Free Billie Eilish” has climbed up a 30-foot TV tower along Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
The Los Angeles Fire Department was called around 6:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday after receiving a report of a man climbing the city’s KTLA tower.
The man was playing the guitar at one point. Officials have referred to him as a “demonstrator,” reports KTLA.
A large inflatable airbag has been placed under the man while emergency services lower him safely. Roads around the station’s headquarters are closed.
