A major manhunt is currently underway in Melbourne’s north after a man was brutally attacked in a home before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.
After receiving reports of the attack, police rushed to the scene of the accident in Roxburgh Park and discovered a man who had been attacked inside the home.
It is understood the man in his 40s suffered serious stab wounds in an attack shortly before 5am.
The area has now been cordoned off for police investigation.
The attackers reportedly fled in a vehicle after the attack.
A detailed description of the suspects or the vehicle has not yet been released.
Anyone who has dashcam footage or CCTV footage of the area or has any information is asked to contact police.
