Man dies in workplace incident at Clye, western Sydney

A man has died in a workplace incident in western Sydney.

The 55-year-old was killed shortly before 8am on Wednesday after plaster collapsed and struck him at the scene on Kendall Street in Clyde.

Emergency services arrived on the scene and ambulance personnel tried to save the man’s life.

The 55-year-old died despite their desperate efforts.

NSW Police have set up a crime scene and a report has been made to SafeWork NSW.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
