A man has died after a workplace incident at a warehouse south of Brisbane.
NCA Newswire understands that a fiberglass pool fell on the man and crushed him inside a company warehouse in Beaudesert, some 55 miles south of the city of Brisbane.
He suffered critical injuries from the incident from which he was unable to recover.
Police were called to an address on Doug Sullivan Court after the man sustained serious injuries.
“Emergency services were called to Doug Sullivan’s court address just after 10am in connection with a workplace incident where the man was pronounced dead,” a police spokesman said.
“No other patients at the scene were tested,” a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.
Police are assisting with the Queensland Workplace Health and Safety investigation and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
