Man charged with murder after man found dead in Melonba, Sydney’s west
A man has been charged with murder after another man was found dead on a footpath after police say a pre-arranged argument in the backyard ended.
The 32-year-old was found just before 9pm on Friday by a mother walking past with her two children in a pool of blood on the pavement of Georgina Crescent, in Melonba, in Sydney’s west.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man, who suffered significant injuries to his head and body, could not be resuscitated.

A 32-year-old man was found by a passer-by in a pool of blood on the sidewalk of Georgina Crescent, in Melonba, in Sydney’s west, just before 9pm on Friday.
NSW Police said they are investigating whether the pair were involved in a backyard fight staged at a home in the area.
Police will allege Fletcher drove the 32-year-old before dumping his body on Georgina Crescent.
He then allegedly crashed into a parked car.
“Police are patrolling the area of the vehicle of interest and have located and arrested a 38-year-old man who had been hiding in bushes,” they said in a statement.
Fletcher was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station a short time later where he was charged.
CCTV footage had earlier on Friday captured a black car arriving at a house on Annan Avenue in Melonba, about 700 meters from where the alleged victim was found.
A man was seen getting out of the car before greeting a man and a woman at the home.

Around 8 p.m., a white SUV pulled into the driveway of the home, where a man and a woman exited the vehicle.
The man entered the home before returning to the white SUV and driving away.
Another man from the home then drove the black car into the driveway and closed the door.
Five minutes later he then left the house in the black car, which allegedly crashed into a parked car.
Forensic detectives searched the home on Saturday and viewed CCTV footage from surrounding buildings.
