A large group of Manchester City players who have won the treble have flown to Ibiza for a night of partying ahead of a return for today’s trophy parade.

Mail Sport understands that those involved – which does not include manager Pep Guardiola – have chartered a private jet from Manchester to the Balearic Island to celebrate their historic exploits in style.

They are expected back early this afternoon for another night of celebration for the blue half of Manchester.

Guardiola and his squad returned to the city yesterday after their dramatic 1-0 win over Inter Milan secured the Champions League, carrying Europe’s most important trophy after the Premier League and the FA Cup in the Etihad cabinet.

From the Ataturk Stadium, the group headed to their hotel for a party with striker Erling Haaland on the DJ decks.

A large group of Manchester City Treble winners continued the celebration by chartering a plane to Ibiza after coming home from the Champions League final in Istanbul.

The festivities continued until 8pm. Many wore sunglasses as they disembarked in Manchester with their trophy.

However, it seems some managed to blow a second wind by hopping on another flight for a consecutive night of partying.

The parade gates open at 5pm and the City players are expected on stage from 7.30pm.

However, the trip to Ibiza was not for everyone. Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Stefan Ortega dined with City staff at Tattu Chinese restaurant in Manchester on Sunday evening.

De Bruyne, who was injured in the final, was present with his wife Michele, arriving at 9.30pm and leaving just before midnight, with Gundogan arriving around the same time.

Tattu’s menu includes a £74.50 per head shared option of caramel soya aged tenderloin, red snapper tom yum, aromatic crispy duck pancakes and seven seasoned seared tuna.

For £99.50, diners can enjoy a menu of Japanese black wagyu, black cod from Shanghai and dim sum, with desserts including a white chocolate dragon egg made from coconut, passion fruit and mango.
