Manchester City are reportedly set to hear the outcome of charges they have filed against the Premier League’s associated party dealings rules within two weeks, according to reports.

The reigning Premier League champions are also defending 115 separate alleged breaches of financial regulations, with a 10-week hearing on the charges set to begin next month.

The outcome of the club’s ongoing lawsuit against the APT rules would allow the hearing on the 115 charges to be brought forward, the Times reports.

The League has accused City of failing to provide accurate financial information and failing to provide accurate details of payments to players and managers.

City are accused of financial irregularities that occurred over a nine-year period from 2009. If found guilty, the club could face the harshest punishment of relegation.
