Man City’s Champions League winner Rodri makes an X-rated live TV commentary after the win

Man City star Rodri makes TWO X-rated comments on live TV – forcing BT Sport to apologize – after Champions League final winning goal

An emotional Rodri thought he ‘played s***’ in the first half of the Champions League final before scoring the only goal of the game after the break.

The midfielder’s stylish strike secured Pep Guardiola’s side a first European title and took them to a famous treble.

He said after the game: “I wasn’t good in the first half, played shit, but this mentality talk I tell myself, you have to get over the situation and eventually I’ll score a goal. Incredible.’

Rodri had to convince the manager to let him in, as he explains: “I said Pep had to play me, we had to win and today we did, like Sergio, Fernandinho, Silva, all these players who make the club great .” this is for them.’

When Rodri stood next to Sergio Aguero, he described the Argentine striker as a ‘fucking legend’, prompting BT Sport to apologise.

Manchester City completed the treble by winning the Champions League in Istanbul

Rodri took the winner in the second half, despite feeling he played ‘s***’ before the break

The 26-year-old had scored just one Champions League goal before Saturday’s final, but proved the difference in a thrilling game against Inter Milan.

Simone Inzaghi’s side proved a tougher test for City than many expected, forcing two brilliant saves from Ederson, but may regret a wayward shot in the second half.

Rodri continued, “Me am emotional, this is a dream come true, all these guys, waiting around here how many years, i’m here for four years but they deserve it, in the end, god give you this gift.

“Finals like this, we didn’t expect to play well as always, the emotions are there, the nerves there, but we fought like animals.

‘We have written history, the great thing is that we want more, this group has more ambition. It is a dream we must enjoy as this moment will never happen again, we hope next year and deserve to celebrate.”

He scored from outside the box as City made up for their final loss of 2021 to Chelsea

Rodri previously played in the game with City in 2021 when they were beaten by Chelsea.

That failure will make Saturday’s victory even sweeter for City fans, as will Manchester United’s greatest achievement.

Manchester is now the second city in Europe, after Milan, to have two Champions League winners, and the Red Devils’ famous treble-winning season of 1999 has been matched.

Peter Schmeichel, who played for both clubs, said before the game that he would ‘hold his hands up to’ City if they completed the treble as they have played ‘the best football I’ve ever seen’ this season.
