Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne was forced out of the Champions League final after suffering an unfortunate first-half injury.
De Bruyne appeared to suffer a hamstring strain against Inter Milan and, despite an attempt to walk away, was unable to continue and was replaced by Phil Foden.
The playmaker suffered a similarly sickening fate in Chelsea’s latest defeat in 2021, after being sent off with a facial injury.
