Motorist caught driving his Honda Jazz on its rims is pulled over by police – who then make another disturbing discovery
A bare-wheeled man has been arrested and police found the dangerous drug Fentanyl in his pocket.
Police received reports of a silver Honda Jazz running a red light and driving recklessly through south-west Sydney at 5.43am on January 19.
By the time police found the car, the front tire had ripped off the rim and sparks were flying from underneath as the car was moving.
The 68-year-old driver was given a roadside breath test which came back negative, but examination revealed the powerful opioid drug and he was taken for further testing.

The Ermington man was eventually caught after several sightings near the Hume Highway in Greenacre and then Parramatta Road in Haberfield.
A NSW Police spokesperson said the incident was a “catastrophe waiting to happen”.
“The police made observations and concluded that he was under the influence of drugs,” the spokesperson said.
‘He was arrested for the purpose of obtaining a blood and urine sample to determine the level of impairment.’
After searching, police found the prescription drug ‘Fentanyl’ in his right trouser pocket.
He was taken The Royal Princes Alfred Hospital is under police guard and his car has been raided and the keys seized.
The police are awaiting the results of the blood and urine samples before taking further action.
