He took to the video sharing platform to explain a ‘dating app horror story’ after going on a date with a woman he met on Bumble
He captioned the viral clip, which has been viewed more than 4.6 million times to date, as “Worst date in a very long time.”
The content creator began by describing the date as a “train wreck” and a “waste of time.”
He noted that everything started badly when Sydney showed up an hour early for their date and expected him to be there.
After arriving at the restaurant, Zakir commented that he realized that Sydney looked nothing like her photos.
“She looked 10 percent like her pictures,” he added before calling her a “catfish.”
However, things took an unusual turn when his date asked for 53 pickles.
He explained that the pickles came in orders of six, before adding, “53 isn’t even a multiple of six!”
And when the server informed the woman that they only came in orders of six, Sydney got excited. She snapped, “Why can’t you just put it on a plate? It’s not that difficult.’
Viewers flooded the comments section expressing their shock at his first date story
Sydney added: “The customer is always right.”
Zakir didn’t reveal whether the woman gave a reason for ordering such a specific number of pickles, but his horrific dating experience didn’t end there.
At the end of the clip, Zakir revealed that he went to the restroom and when he returned, he discovered that Sydney had left and taken the fried pickles with her, leaving him with a $140 bill.
Viewers flooded the comments section expressing their shock at his first date story – with one person comparing his experience to a recent viral story in which another woman revealed a date left her at a restaurant after she slurped down 48 oysters.
One person said: ’53 fried pickles are the new 48 oysters.’
Someone else commented, “Personally, as soon as she ordered 53 pickles, I got up and left.”
Another user added, “You paid for 53 fried pickles, you’re so nice!”
