A man is wondering if he’s wrong for asking his influencer girlfriend to leave his house after she continuously videotaped their private moments.

The unnamed man took to Reddit to reveal that he and his lover – whose name he did not share – had been living together for two years.

Although things went smoothly for most of their relationship, the couple found themselves in murky waters when his girlfriend decided to pursue a career as an influencer.

In a Reddit thread titled ‘Am I the hole?‘, the user admitted that he was ‘tired’ of his girlfriend always shoving a camera in his face – adding that he eventually got tired of the constant screen time.

The unnamed man revealed he begged his girlfriend to move out because things had ‘gotten out of hand’, but it led to a furious row.

He explained: ‘I’ve been living with my girlfriend for two years. At first everything was great: we got along well, spent time together and had a good balance between our personal and couple lives. But a few months ago, she started building a career as an influencer.

“It became especially awkward when she posted part of a conversation where I shared something very personal that I didn’t expect to be made public.”

The man repeatedly tried to discuss the ongoing issue with his girlfriend, but she often “brushed it off” and claimed it was “just part of her job.”

‘A few days ago, after yet another incident where I came home and was ‘caught’ on camera, I decided to have a serious conversation with her. I told her that I understand that her influencer career is an important part of her life now, but for me it is too much.

“I suggested that maybe she should consider moving out—not because I want to break up with her, but because I need a private space where I don’t feel like I’m being watched all the time,” he said.

Although he made it clear that he still wanted to be in a relationship with her, his girlfriend was furious.

He admitted: ‘She freaked out. She said I was selfish, that I didn’t support her career and that I was trying to control her. She accused me of sabotaging her success instead of being proud of what she has accomplished.
