A man has been arrested after he tried to jump a barrier just before the Queen’s procession began making its way through the streets of London today, following a moving state funeral service for the late monarch at Westminster Abbey.
Thousands of mourners had gathered to watch the queen’s casket make its final journey, after many queued all night to secure a first-class vantage point.
But one of those in attendance attempted to jump the barriers to Parliament Street near the Cenotaph and was arrested by police when the deceased monarch’s coffin emerged from the abbey just before the full procession began, the report said. The Scottish sun.
