Mamamia founder Mia Freedman delivers extraordinary tirade to her readers: ‘Just keep scrolling’
Mamamia co-founder Mia Freedman has issued a stern warning to her social media followers, telling them to be on their best behavior in her Facebook group.
The media personality, 52, shared a post on her Mamamia Outlouders page, warning fans not to criticize other followers on the page.
‘A reminder to JUST KEEP SCROLLING if there’s a post in this group that doesn’t interest you. There is no need to monitor what others in the group, show or website are or are not talking about,β she began.
βGiven the amount of content we create across all our platforms, it’s highly unlikely you’ll come across everything covered by us.β
Freedman then told followers what to do if they see a post they aren’t interested in on the group’s page.

‘Mamamia has always been about not shaming or criticizing women for what they want to talk about or are interested in at a particular moment.
‘In this group we will often share stories that are relevant and interesting to many of the 40,000 people here. If it’s not for you? JUST KEEP SCROLLING,β she concluded.
In August, Freedman made headlines after she lashed out at Karl Stefanovic for refusing to appear on her No Filter podcast, despite being friends with the Today host when she worked at Channel Nine.
The media personality, 52, shared a post on her Mamamia Outlouders page, warning fans not to criticize other followers on the page.
Freedman took a swipe at Stefanovic, 49, via Instagram when she uploaded a photo of him on TV.
The 52-year-old former Nine manager and presenter wrote on Stefanovic’s Instagram account: ‘Hey (Stefanovic), why don’t you come on No Filter?’
In a second post, she shared a photo of Stefanovic, believed to have been taken by Freedman while walking along the water.

‘My mate. You interview people for your job. You’re much better at it than I am. You interviewed me for years when I was on (Today). I was at your 40th! We were friends,β she wrote.
When she was 19, Freedman was hired by Wilkinson as an intern at Dolly magazine.
Freedman quickly rose through the ranks to become fashion editor at the title, before freelancing for a while and then becoming editor of Cosmopolitan at the age of 24.
She previously worked with Stefanovic at Nine after being hired by the company to host chat show The Catch-Up in 2007, and as a regular commentator on the Today show.
