These first two tricks already made the space appear fluffier and lighter, as if you were staying in a hotel.

For pillows, put two at a time in the dryer with a rolled up towel or tennis ball.

The texture of the towel or ball will fluff up the pillows, making them more comfortable to lie on.

Earlier, Chantel shared her simple four-step method for folding a fitted sheet in seconds, saying the ‘folding hack’ provides a ‘simple way to fold a fitted sheet’ without leaving a crumpled mess at the end.

‘Folding a fitted sheet saves storage space and only takes 20 seconds. Let me know if you try this at home,” Chantel wrote alongside her. video.

The first thing Mila said to do is lay the sheet flat on a surface like your bed, elastic side up.

Flatten the sheet so that it starts with a completely flat surface with the elastic on the inside.

After this, it’s all about creating a ‘rectangle’ with your blade.

Flip the bottom two corners over and place them on the top two corners to create a rectangle,” Mila explained.

You can do this by placing your hands inside the corners of the sheet and tucking them into the other two corners.

The third step in Mila’s four-step method is that you need to fold the two long sides in. This will create a long line of blade.

Once the long sides have been folded in, all you need to do is fold the two short sides in as well.

This should create a neat rectangle ready to be stored inside your clothes or iron.

Mila’s ‘bonus tip’ is that you can store your fitted sheets inside a dust bag to keep them clean and fresh.

Simply slip the sheet into the bag and secure with the drawstring to ensure your sheets stay fresh when it comes to putting them on your bed.

How to make your bed fluffy like a hotel:

When making the bed, Chantel Mila recommends the following three steps:

1. When choosing your bedding, opt for a comforter/quilt one size larger than your mattress for a cozy feel. If you have a queen mattress, use a king size doona. It’s a trick many bedding brands use for their in-store displays!

2. Roll your doona 1/3 down the bed and add a blanket under the roll to add height

3. Place your pillows in the dryer with a rolled up towel or tennis ball to give them a quick fluff.
