As temperatures continue to soar across the US, many women are struggling to find makeup products that will stay on in the heat and withstand their sweat.
But now a makeup artist has revealed the perfect product combination that she claims will remain in place even through ‘100 degree weather’, detailing the exact regimen in a now-viral TikTok video.
Popular beauty guru Mikayla Nogueira, 24, from Massachusetts, has racked up more than 13 million followers on her TikTok account for posting glam tricks and tips.
She recently shared a video in which she said she showcased a series of very pricey, but effective, products that she said will keep you looking good even when you’re sweating – to the tune of $277.
Despite the sky-high cost of the routine, Mikayla’s video quickly went viral, gaining more than nine million views in a matter of days and leaving many people on the web elated to have finally found an answer to keeping your makeup looking good on hot days.

‘I did it, I mastered my makeup routine,’ she excitedly said in the video. ‘This routine will last outside in 100 degree weather. This is it. I am so happy. I am so excited that I perfected it.’
First, Mikayla ran through her normal skincare routine, using a variety of her favorite products, including an SPF in the form of the $25 Bliss Block Star Mineral Daily Sunscreen.
The influencer then continued the process by ‘underpainting’ her skin with the Saie Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer, which costs $30.
Underpainting is a popular makeup trend that involves putting color on underneath your foundation which ends up peeking through and adding even more contour to your face.
‘Using a brush, I’m going to add a generous amount of this onto the skin – anywhere you want the face to have warmth,’ Mikayla explained while applying the bronzer.
After drying it with a small fan, she then applied Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation all over, which is priced at $40.
‘It’s meant to last through sweat,’ she dished about the foundation. ‘I’m gonna put some on a brush and apply it right on top of the underpainting that we did. This foundation is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.’
She added that the underpainting ‘allows you to use less foundation’ – and that you don’t want to put a lot on so that the underpainting can ‘still come through.’
Next up, she applied some $8 ColourPop Super Shock Bronzer, which she couldn’t stop gushing about.

‘The way this product acts in heat is incredible. Because it’s a powder and a cream it doesn’t melt off the face, it melts into the skin and stays.’
For her concealer, she opted for Joah Beauty Perfect Complexion Eye Serum Concealer, which can be yours for $12.
‘Beautiful coverage, hydrating, long-lasting on the skin,’ she told her viewers while applying it under her eyes and on her cheeks.
‘I blended it out with a brush, which will optimize coverage, but blend it out fully with a sponge,’ she suggested. ‘Look how bright that is.’
She then used La Mer’s The Sheer Pressed Powder, which retails at $100. And while it’s expensive, Mikayla described it as ‘miracle f**king product’ and said it’s ‘worth every f**king penny.’
‘This is incredible. Take a dry sponge and get some of the powder onto the sponge, I’m going to use this to set under my eyes,’ she explained.
Next up, she applied some $8 ColourPop Super Shock Bronzer, which she couldn’t stop gushing about. ‘The way this product acts in heat is incredible,’ she said
For concealer, she opted for the $12 Joah Beauty Perfect Complexion Eye Serum Concealer, which she said has ‘beautiful coverage,’ is ‘hydrating,’ and ‘long-lasting on the skin’
She then used La Mer’s Sheer Pressed Powder, which retails at $100

‘I’m going to begin to press that on top of the concealer. Holy s**t. This does not crease at all.
She then completed her look with Jaclyn Cosmetics Reflective Light Putty Highlight, which costs $29

Next, Mikayla added a little liquid blush. She used one by the brand Elf, but explained that ‘you can use any one’ you like.
She then completed her look with Jaclyn Cosmetics Reflective Light Putty Highlight, which costs $29.
‘I use my fingers, I take some of the product and you just press it into the skin and it’s gonna melt right in,’ she told her followers. ‘It’s gonna last a really long time on the skin.’

She added: ‘When I tell you this works so freaking good, the more the merrier. Then use that fan. This will last in hot f**king weather.’
