Majority of US Congress Members at Risk of Personal Information Exposure

New research finds that three-quarters of US lawmakers are vulnerable to security risks such as identity theft because their personal information is easily accessible online through searchable websites.

A report from Incogni identified contact information, family information and home addresses for 80% of male Republican House members and 74% of male Democrats. In comparison, information on female House members was slightly harder to come by, with 62% and 73% of Republican and Democratic House members, respectively.
