The lengthy tweet on Sunday included a statement from the congresswoman saying she is “happy” and “healthy,” as a way of suggesting that the suspicious television activity could be hints that someone is trying to kill her.

MTG, is a well-known conspiracy theorist and has advanced questionable claims in the past, including that Jewish space lasers were responsible for the 2020 California wildfires.

“Last night at my DC home, the television turned on by itself and the screen showed someone’s laptop trying to connect to the TV.

Journalist Matt Binder speculated that what MTG was experiencing was her neighbor accidentally trying to cast their device to the wrong television.

It appears that MTG shared her health information to write down on Twitter that she is happy and in good health in case she mysteriously disappears or dies as a suggestion that she is worried about an assassination attempt.

‘Just for the record: I’m very happy. I’m also very healthy and eat well and exercise a lot,” said the Crossfit congressman. “I don’t smoke and never have. I don’t take any drugs. I am not vaccinated. So I’m not worried about blood clots, heart disease, strokes or anything.”

She insisted, “I have nothing to hide either.”

The tweet was posted to her personal account.

She followed up on her official congressional Twitter on Sunday afternoon with a link to a Newsweek story in which she claimed, “MTG says she is being spied on. While smart TV hacking is possible, she has previously shared misinformation about COVID and is a conspiracy theorist.”

“You know what they say about conspiracy theories,” she added.
