The iconic label said in a statement via the Food & Drug Administration website that a “limited quantity” of its 13 oz Lay’s Classic Potato Chips was recalled in Oregon and Washington because it “may contain undeclared milk, after being warned via a consumer contact’. .

The recalled product is in a flexible bag with a Guaranteed Fresh date of February 11, 2025.

“People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk are at risk of a serious life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled product,” the brand warned.

No allergic reactions were reported, the company confirmed, and no other Lay’s products had to be recalled.
