11 sexy singles are currently looking for love in South Africa after months of preparation, promotional photos and grooming.

Debut shoots have never been great and most of the footage we see looks nothing like the people we end up meeting in the villa.

Whether it’s bad lighting or the wrong angles, the islanders rage every year over their dubious professional photo of Love Island.

From Millie Court to Adam Collard, many islanders have complained and some have even gone so far as to say that the photos will ‘haunt’ them to death.

Molly-Mae Hague – Season Five

Molly-Mae, 23, stormed into the village with a bang during the fifth season of Love Island and has since become one of the most successful islanders.

Love Island winner Millie, 26, hated her promotional photo so much that she called the Love Island photographer and claimed she’s “going to haunt me until I die.”

Uploading it to her Instagram stories, Millie, who appeared on the show in 2021, wrote: “This photo will haunt me until I die… I’m sorry but it doesn’t.” The award for the worst press photo in the history of Love Island goes to me.

‘What is my hair and makeup? My friends told me that when this photo was released, everyone was saying who the hell is this 40-year-old man. It looks like a mother who leaves her two children at the door.

Indiyah Polack – Season Eight

Indiyah was part of the eighth season, in which all 11 singles posed with giant flags for their promotional photos, something that had not been done before.

Devoted viewers criticized the photographer in charge for not capturing their ‘good angles’.

One person wrote: ‘These Love Island promotional photos, right? I went into each contestant’s Instagram and saw completely different people’

Siannise entered the Love Island villa on the first day of season six, but she looked completely different from her promo photos.

Adam was the bombshell that shocked the nation as he returned to the ITV2 dating show for the second series in 2022.
