Sixth-tier Maidstone United will travel to Sheffield Wednesday or Coventry City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The National League South side defeated Championship team Ipswich Town on Saturday and will again face second-tier opposition.

The non-league heroes’ destination will be decided by a replay after Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry City played out a 1-1 draw on Friday evening.

With a cheeky nod to their FA Cup path, Maidstone tweeted the news of the draw next to the comment: ‘Championship? I finished it, buddy.”

Holders Manchester City face a potentially tricky trip to Luton Town in the next round after beating Tottenham on Friday.
