Magpies fan gets a shocking tattoo to commemorate his team’s grand final win: ‘This is the most Collingwood thing ever’

A Collingwood fan decided to pay a permanent tribute to the class of 2023 after the Pies’ victory on Saturday.

But one crucial mistake has been made, which may need to be corrected.

A clip of the Pies fan has gone viral after his mate, who was ’10 cans deep’, tattooed him after Saturday’s grand final celebration.

The Magpie Army are on cloud nine after Craig McRae’s side defeated Brisbane Lions by four points in a dramatic match at the sun-drenched MCG.

More than 100,000 supporters attended and the celebrations continued in the hours after the final siren, with fans coming out in droves to catch a glimpse of Darcy Moore’s team lifting the Premiership Cup.

But for one fan, he may wake up with a feeling of regret after getting ‘the most Collingwood tattoo ever’ inked on his body.

In a video circulating on TikTok, the fan can be seen getting a new tattoo on his left arm, while a Pies buddy holds the tattoo needle.

“I think I did well for ten cans deep,” the mate says as he finishes the job.

Another friend in the background points out the error. The tattoo says ‘Flagpies 2020’ instead of ‘Flagpies 2023’.

“You did a zero instead of a three?” says the Pies fan to his mate, who cannot control himself.

Elsewhere, Channel 7 has revealed the grand final attracted the second-largest audience of the year, with 4.98 million Australians watching on television, while 756,000 people tuned in on 7plus.
