“I’m terrified of spiders,” Hannah told Yahoo. “I suspected it was a spider, but they seemed way too big,” she said Yahoo News Australia.

“Honestly, I want to break off the branch because I have two young girls under the age of two, but that means I have to get close.”

But social media users, fascinated by Ashlee’s discovery, begged her not to hurt the creatures.

“Omg never seen anything like it,” one wrote.

Another said, “Good… take them to mine! Don’t kill them.’

The Magnificent Spider is a species found along the east coast of Australia and lives in trees and forests.

They form a group of three species of Bolas spiders, which lay large brown sacs that can grow up to about two inches long.

The spiders are not harmful to humans and are mainly active at night hunting for food.

According to the Australian Museum, the spider hunts prey and uses the silk it produces to catch moths.

Female beautiful spiders are more noticeable than males, as they are covered in different markings.

“The female gorgeous spider is very distinctive in its drawing,” says the Australian Museum’s website.

“He’s white with two bright yellow buttons on his belly, and also some salmon-colored spots and blotches,”

‘The body and limbs are covered with long fine hairs, especially the front legs’.
