MAGA is the leading RED FLAG for 18-34-year-old women while reading is the biggest turn-on for both genders
It’s easy to win over most young women – just don’t be a MAGA supporter and watch the Barbie movie.
A fascinating study has revealed the most common arousals and aversions among 18-34 year old men and women in the US.
Change research asked 1,033 Americans whether certain behavior is a green, beige or red flag in a partner. On some traits, both sexes are on par, such as the importance of having hobbies or being “bothered” by asking for details.
For 76 percent of women, supporting MAGA ideals — Make America Great Again, a moniker championed by former President Donald Trump — was a turn-off. For men, the biggest turn-off, at 64 percent, was identifying as a communist.
A majority of men surveyed – 59 percent – also cited pro-Trump beliefs as a turn-off when looking for a partner.
It was a similar left-wing story with gender identity. Fifty-four percent of women say people who believe there are only two genders reject them. A significant minority of men – 34 percent – felt the same way.
Also controversial among women was the Joe Rogan podcast, with 55 percent saying they would not be interested in a man listening to the hugely popular show. Just over a third of the men interviewed felt the same way, even though the audience for Rogan’s show is mostly male.
Overall, there were major differences in how men and women view views on astrology, Black Lives Matter and owning a gun as attractive qualities.

Biggest turn-offs for women
Among women aged 18 to 34, including Generation Z and later Millennials, conservative views were often a turn-off.
If you don’t care about politics, that’s a red flag 50 percent of women, but talking about any politics will also die out 23 percent of young women and identifying as liberal is a big no 19 percent.
Listening to Joe Rogan will rule out a man as a potential partner for more than half of women 55 percent saying that listening to the controversial podcast would be a red flag.
About 66 percent of women say having ‘no hobbies’ is a red flag. Whether it’s knitting, gardening or golfing: according to research from Change Research, it’s better to have some hobbies than none.
Using the anti-Black Lives Matter phrase “All Lives Matter” was enough to turn around 60 percent away from women.
Saying there are only two genders 58 percent away from women.

Biggest turn-offs for men
Men of the same age also identified their greatest active qualities in women as part of the study.
About 59 percent of men say identifying as a MAGA Republican is a turn-off. However, 64 percent of men think identifying as a communist is a red flag. So it might be best to be in the middle of the political aisle.
Not having any hobbies will change 60 percent away from men, but make sure that astrology is not a hobby, which will change 41 percent out. Watching reality dating shows is a no-no 29 percent of men.
Saying “All Lives Matter” is less appealing 41 percent of men, and saying ‘Black Lives Matter’ is a turn off for 33 percent.
Identifying as conservative and listening to Joe Rogan will disable both 35 percent of men.

Here are some turn-ons
Both men and women say reading is exciting 95 percent of women who decide that men who read are attractive 91 percent of men who agree.
Both genders also agree that researching the best deals and rates before buying is exciting – 88 percent for women and 85 percent for men.
Other popular green flags for women include the text ‘Black Lives Matter’ (60 percent), identifying as liberal (39 percent). Unsurprisingly, looking better in person than in dating app photos was also a big turn-on, and appealed 50 percent of women.
Men are often turned on by women who prefer cow’s milk over other non-dairy milks 42 percent say this is a green flag.
Men also feel more turned on by women who identify as conservative (35 percent) than women who identify as liberal (29 percent).
While both genders agree that reading is hot, they disagree on whether listening to Joe Rogan isn’t. Only 7 percent of women say men who listen to Joe Rogan appeal to them, but 25 percent of men and women who listen to the controversial podcaster.
