MAFS’s Harrison lashes out at girlfriends who LAUGH at him for showing emotion
MAFS’s Harrison Boon lashes out at brides who LAUGHED at his awkward display of emotion while explaining why his wife Bronte Schofield couldn’t be at the engagement ceremony
Harrison Boon hit back at his MAFS co-stars who laughed at him as he tried to explain why his wife Bronte Schofield couldn’t make it to Sunday’s commitment ceremony.
The 33-year-old builder was emotional when he revealed that Bronte suffers from endometriosis and was in too much pain to take part in filming that day.
While his emotions were no doubt genuine, he was a little uncomfortable when he talked about the issue of women’s health that was clearly beyond his personal experience.
The other brides were shown laughing at Harrison as he explained that his wife was in “a lot of pain” so he had no choice but to fly alone for the ceremony.
After the episode aired, he called out women for laughing at him for showing “vulnerability” and “compassion”.
‘Hello everyone, I just want to address tonight’s CC. Bronte was in a lot of pain and crying and I had to go into a high-pressure environment and deliver a commitment ceremony decision on my own and the emotions you see were very real,” she began.

“I have a lot of empathy and a real soft spot for my son and they’ve seen my softer side flash through the experiment where I’ve shown a lot of empathy for Jesse and Josh.”
“I don’t appreciate the women in the group making fun of me showing vulnerability and showing absolutely no interest in the Bronte situation, nor do I think the music was appropriate.”
Harrison continued: “What you see tonight is a man who shows nothing but compassion and genuine care for his wife.” Yes, I’m the villain this season, but that doesn’t mean I’m made of stone.
During the commitment ceremony on Sunday night, Harrison explained to the group: “Unfortunately, Bronte couldn’t be here because he goes through a lot more at that time of month.”
The other brides were shown laughing as an emotional Harrison explained that his wife was unable to attend the engagement ceremony because she was in “a lot of pain”.

“I’m not a voice for endometriosis, but she is in a lot of pain and she gets very emotional. It’s really hard to see her like this,” she said as the other girlfriends laughed.
“We will try to get through this as best we can. I’m a guy so I don’t know what Bronte really goes through so I just have to support him and do everything he can.”
First sight marriage expert John Aiken responded: “I don’t get the feeling you’re being real with us.” So do you want to stay or go?
Harrison later revealed that he had made the decision to remain in the experiment.
