Married At First Sight star Adam Seed came out swinging amid the headline-grabbing cheating scandal.
The 35-year-old Queensland-based business owner appeared on Hit Adam and Carly from WA and defended himself in the midst of controversy.
Adam confirmed his split from ‘wife’ Janelle Han and insisted he didn’t cheat on her because they weren’t in a ‘committed, loving relationship’.
He added that early in the experiment, the couple quickly realized that they were “not people for each other.”
“We were in there having a bit of a show, I would happily sit down and take a lie detector test,” he said.

‘What happened behind closed doors, the conversations between Janelle and me, only we know… Janelle and I realized very quickly that we were not each other’s people. We were there for the opportunity at the end, we had that conversation,’ she said.
Speaking about the cheating scandal, where he kissed ‘married’ co-star Claire Nomarhas, he said: ‘I wasn’t in a loving, committed relationship with the girl.
“Yeah, looks like I’m the biggest ass…My heart goes out to Jesse for what I’ve done…he sure as hell didn’t deserve what we gave Claire and me.”

On Thursday, Adam attempted to clear his name yet again in an interview with Kyle and Jackie O, but instead of taking charge, he accused Claire of instigating their kiss by “repeatedly” trying to separate him from the group the night they kissed.
“She tried to pull me away from the group at least three or four times that night,” he told radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
The businessman also said he had text messages from Claire that prove she instigated their brief affair, after she tried to claim the couple were equally at fault.

‘[Claire is] lying through his teeth right now. She is very sneaky so I just have to be careful what I say,” she added.
Adam alleged that Claire continued to send him flirty messages after the night of their kiss, even asking him to run away on dates on multiple occasions.
I’m not going to lie, I leaned in a bit, but nothing really happened. He was making some headway on me,” she said.
Adam also admitted that he felt “very sorry” for cheating on Claire’s partner, Jesse, by lying to her about the kiss.
‘[It] It was really the worst part of it all, making him feel like he was freaking out when he got a feeling something was up,” he said.
‘I have nothing but love for Jesse. We are recovering and all that, since all this has come out. So I really regret kissing Claire that night and attacking him.
