At the latest reunion ceremony, fans of the Channel 4 show were left ‘sobbing’ as Kieran and Kristina’s story came to an end in the ‘heartbreaking’ finale.
It was revealed that Kieran had left their marriage to another woman shortly after they left the E4 show.
About his relationship, Kristina told the experts, “I didn’t take it well. When I so casually heard that he was dating someone, I thought, “What did it mean to him?” because to me it meant the absolute world.’
Paul asked, “How are you two not together?”
“Kieran didn’t want me,” Christina replied bluntly.
Breaking down in tears, Kieran explained: ‘One of the reasons was that Christina reacts to a partner so often.
“I’ve been there before and it’s a trigger. I don’t have the mental capacity to comfort you because sometimes I don’t even have it for myself.’
Kristina said, “Before I came here, I bought two tickets to a festival because I thought I would come as my husband.
“Our chapter may have ended, but that doesn’t mean our story is over,” Christina added as Kieran agreed to join her as a friend.
