MAFS ‘supervillain’ Dean Wells throws support behind Donald Trump’s victory in 2024 US Presidential Election: ‘And we’re back’
Dean Wells was more MAGA than MAFS on Wednesday as he took to social media to celebrate Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election.
Donald Trump was re-elected president of the United States on Wednesday (AEST), defeating opponent Kamala Harris in a dramatic and hard-fought race.
And Dean, 46, who was dubbed a “supervillain” in season five of Married At First Sight, was quick to show his support for the victorious Republican candidate.
In his Instagram Story on Wednesday, after the victory was declared, Dean shared a photo of himself proudly wearing a bright red Make America Great Again cap — a trademark of the MAGA movement.
To make the look a little cooler, Dean also wore a pair of blue reflective wrap-around sunglasses.
“Aaaand we’re back,” Dean Cooly captioned the photo in honor of Donald Trump’s upcoming return to the White House following the 2020 defeat to Joe Biden.
Dean shared another photo which was a still life from Nine News’ election coverage.
Despite Trump still clearly prevailing, with 312 electoral college votes – 42 more than needed for victory, Dean seized the opportunity to renew the claims of election interference and fraud that plagued the 2020 election.

“Holy shit,” Dean wrote as he watched the results come in.
“Things are looking good for the Don, but I remember last time some mysterious votes showed up at the last minute and he lost.”
Dean also shared a video of himself watching Donald Trump’s victory speech and further cemented his support with the caption: “very humble speech.” Legend’

Dean was branded a MAFS ‘supervillain’ after he was involved in a ‘dispute’ with co-star Davina Rankin behind the back of on-screen bride Tracey Jewel.
During a tense dinner party, it emerged that Davina had sent Dean a series of X-rated text messages, much to the chagrin of Davina’s boyfriend Ryan Gallagher and Tracey.
The controversy proved too much for both couples, who all broke up before the cameras stopped rolling.
More recently, however, Dean revealed in May that he was baptized in Sydney Harbor after turning over a new leaf.
The reality TV star posted a video to Instagram explaining that he has been reading the Bible for “about eight years” and wanted to make his Christian faith official.

The footage showed Dean standing in the waters of Port Jackson with a member of his local church clergy helping him submerge.
Dean is also planning to walk down the aisle with fiancée Amy Woolley after announcing their engagement in 2023 after just a year of dating.
The controversial groom told Yahoo lifestyle at that point, he was finally ready to tie the knot again after his disastrous stint on reality television.
‘MAFS is different for everyone, but for me it was a total mess and left me with a bitter taste about marriage. “I was a little scarred by the experience, but when I met Aimee, she renewed my faith in real, honest, true love,” Dean said.
‘She is the sweetest, funniest, craziest and most genuine person I have ever met. We dove into it first and started living together after just a few weeks. The next natural step was to propose.”
