Married At First Sight star KC Osborne has revealed the heartbreaking story behind her son’s name, Brooklyn Harmon.
The star spoke Now to love on Thursday when she said she lost her best friend Harmon to Covid in the early days of the 2020 pandemic.
“I lost my best friend to COVID in 2020 and his name was Harmon,” said KC, who previously danced for the Pussycat Dolls.
“Harmon was my friend from church and one of the last messages he sent me was about how one day I’m going to be an incredible mom to a beautiful baby boy, it’s like he knew it was crazy,” she added please.
The pair traveled to Brooklyn together for their last vacation before KC got pregnant after his text.

KC welcomed a son with fiance Blake Spriggs six weeks earlier in October last year.
The star shared a photo of the child on Instagram, writing, “Blake and I would like to introduce our son.”
The dancer further revealed that the baby was named Brooklyn Harmon and was born on October 26.
“I lost my best friend to COVID in 2020 and his name was Harmon,” said KC, who previously danced for the Pussycat Dolls. “Harmon was my friend from church and one of the last messages he sent me was about how one day I’m going to be an incredible mom to a beautiful baby boy, it’s like he knew it was crazy,” she added please.
“Our pride and joy was as excited to meet us as we were to meet him,” KC’s post began.
“We weren’t expecting him for another six weeks, but both Mom and Bub are doing extremely well.
KC continued, “Thank you Blake for standing by my side every step of the way.
“Especially how unexpected it all was, but we both agree it was the most amazing moment of our lives. We are already so in love. I love you blakey. Family for life.’

On Instagram stories, KC shared adorable photos of the pair bonding with Brooklyn.
The pair were soon inundated with well-wishers from followers, with one writing, “He’s just precious, the perfect little baby boy.”

KC and Blake announced their engagement in August, while pregnant.
The star showed off her pear-shaped diamond engagement ring.

KC surprised her followers with her baby announcement in early June.
“We are very excited to announce that we are welcoming a baby boy in December,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I can’t wait for the next chapter of my life and I’m so happy to have a supportive partner by my side.”
KC starred in season eight of Married At First Sight, Nine’s popular social experiment.
KC was linked to ‘husband’ Drew Brauer on season eight of MAFS, but things didn’t work out and she later started a short-lived relationship with co-star Michael Goonan (right)
