MAFS star Al Perkins, 26, says he is going to marry his teenage girlfriend Hope Kelesis, 18

Al Perkins is deeply in love with his girlfriend Hope Kelesis.

And the Married At First Sight season nine star, 26, revealed his future plans with the teen, 18, to his 295,000 followers on Wednesday.

Al posted a mirror selfie shared by Hope of the lovebirds cuddling together and said he had his sights set on marrying the brunette.

“One day I’m going to marry her,” he captioned the photo.

Al went Instagram official with Hope on Valentine’s Day, but didn’t reveal any details about their relationship at the time.

A week later, the MAFS star opened up about his new love interest for the first time Back to reality podcast.

He told his co-host Taku Chimwaza that Hope was his first “real girlfriend” and that he was “over the moon.”

Al also mentioned that the pair met at The Island, a floating club in Sydney Harbour.

“I want to respect her privacy, so I don’t want to talk about her too much…” he said.

“But we met on The Island and had a great time there, and we’ve only talked to each other since.”

He continued, “Only last week did we do the official hard launch on the Instagram Story.

“We had been talking for a few months — it wasn’t anything crazy, just a little chat. Then we started hanging out on the beach more, and then yes. Spending January at Coogee Beach and Maroubra.

‘Yes! [She’s] my first real girlfriend. Then we continued with the hard launch [on Instagram] last week – it was crazy. I got so much support, a lot of support.’

A week later, the MAFS star first opened up about his new love interest on his Back to Reality podcast. He told his co-host Taku Chimwaza that Hope was his first “real girlfriend” and that he was “over the moon”

Despite receiving a few negative comments from trolls due to the couple’s age difference, the reality star said he was happier than ever.

“From now on, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Life was great being single, and I told myself I would be single for the next two years. But it’s when you least expect it… it crept up on me. She’s a wonderful person,’ he said.

Al and Hope officially debuted their relationship on Valentine’s Day.

My first valentine [sic] and here are many more,” he captioned a mirror selfie of the couple having drinks at a restaurant.

Meanwhile, Hope wrote “Happy Valentine’s Day @al.perkinss” over the photo.

Romance rumors between the couple started swirling last month after they were first spotted together in early January.

Al initially denied the rumors during an appearance on the Sit With Us podcast with hosts and his former MAFS co-stars Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding.

When Ella and Dom asked about his relationship status, he quickly shut down the rumors.

“Already, true or false, are you dating someone who’s 17?” Dom asked.

‘False, false! You can’t believe everything you see on the internet or anything, but I’m just very happy right now, that’s all I can say about it,” he replied.

“And that’s all that matters,” Dom added. “That you are happy, healthy and living your best life, and the bullsh*t that comes out in the media, we know all about that.”
