Married At First Sight star shares shocking images of young daughter being attacked by a kangaroo: ‘It started shaking her’
Married At First Sight star Dan Hunjas on Thursday revealed the horrific moment his daughter Keeley was attacked by a kangaroo when she was just a toddler.
The former reality TV star, 43, posted on Instagram a shocking photo of his young toddler, who is now 18, being mauled in the face by the marsupial.
He explained to his followers in a video that he and Keeley were “going on a father-daughter adventure to a zoo” when one of the animals latched on and “started shaking her.”
Dan said the kangaroo looked “friendly and sweet” when they approached him and young Keeley, who he shares with his first wife Talisha, started petting him.
“I had one of those cameras on a lanyard around my neck, so I literally leaned back and went to take the picture,” the entrepreneur began.

‘When I pressed the button, this kangaroo just went “whack!” and grabbed my daughter’s face and started shaking her,” he continued.
“That’s when I dropped the camera, launched into this room and took her off my daughter.
“Then this thing started attacking me. So now I’m fighting this kangaroo, while at the same time trying to see if my daughter is okay. ‘
The former reality TV star posted to Instagram a shocking photo of his young toddler, who is now 18, being punched in the face by the marsupial.
Despite the fear he felt at the time, Dan said everything turned out well when he realized his daughter “didn’t have any marks on her that were that lucky.”
“No one got hurt, everyone was fine, we got a cool photo and a funny story and we all lived to fight another day,” he added.
Fans of MAFS will remember Dan’s tumultuous time on last year’s Channel Nine show, when he was paired with dental hygienist Sandy Jawanda.

The pair’s relationship was anything but smooth, with Dan admitting he wasn’t attracted to his wife but was willing to stay in the experiment for the fame.
Sandy and Dan, who split from the show in March, tied the knot during the season premiere, which aired in late January last year.
Dan subsequently had a brief relationship with his long-time girlfriend Samantha, who raised eyebrows at the wedding by wearing an inappropriately racy dress while sitting with his guests.
When asked about the relationship on Fitzy & Wippa, Sandy said she didn’t notice Samantha at the wedding because Dan invited “a lot of girls.”
