MAFS RECAP: Shocking moment Jade slaps Ridge as he makes offensive noise while she declares love for him
Married at First Sight interloper couple Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo shared a tense moment during Monday’s episode of the show.
During a dinner party, Ridge challenged Jade to share what she thinks of him, and she quickly praised him.
‘You’ve made it very difficult for me to have feelings. “I didn’t expect to fall for someone so quickly,” she said.
“I feel like you came in here and threw me off…” she continued, before Ridge burst out with a loud noise.
‘Heeeerrre!’ he shouted, pounding his chest and pumping his fist into the air.

Jade was furious, reaching over and hitting him on the shoulder as he screamed. ‘Stop that! If you do that, I’m not going to say nice things!’
Ridge apologized, but Jade was upset and told him he had to “step up” and show her that he was “not a little kid.”
She added that she understood he was trying to be playful and joking, but that it “wasn’t the time” to admonish him for once again displaying the “immature” behavior that has plagued their romance.
Ridge insisted that “it affects him one way or another” and he needs to be clear when he says that “there’s no one else” for him.
He said he was just “afraid of his feelings” but that he was very serious about Jade.

It comes after the couple revealed they have revealed their plans to start a family.
The lovebirds said they are hoping to have twins in the near future so they can give Jade’s eight-year-old daughter Victoria some siblings to play with.
‘Boy and girl twins! I’m definitely waiting for a new ring before we have kids,” Jade said New Idea Magazine.
‘The show doesn’t count. I’d like a real engagement, instead of just being handed over to him.’
Ridge added that he was determined to have children with Jade so their family could be complete.
Ridge, 27, and Jade’s, 26, couple on MAFS were initially questioned during their wedding ceremony after Ridge made several immature jokes while taking his vows.
He also repeatedly used the made-up catchphrase ‘deccc’ and described himself as ‘gorgeous’, leaving Jade’s sister unimpressed.
However, viewers’ skepticism about the pairing quickly dissipated during the wedding reception, after Ridge and Jade quickly bonded.
