MAFS: Ollie Skelton calls out washed-up former groom Nasser Sultan

MAFS star Ollie Skelton calls out washed-up former groom Nasser Sultan after crashing his date with Tahnee Cook: “Really, dude?”

Married At First Sight’s Ollie Skelton has called out the desperate ex-groom who tried to push into host families to get on camera.

Ollie, 26, and his wife Tahnee Cook were filming a scene at a shop in Bondi, Sydney, in November when they saw Nasser Sultan, a contestant on the 2018 season, follow them and try to get on camera.

He told Yahoo lifestyle it was clear to both him and Tahnee that Nasser, 55, was hoping to appear on the show, and when this didn’t work, he tried to take pictures with the couple in the background.

“He asked the person working there to take some pictures. However, the photos “coincidental” with us in the background,” Ollie said.

“I knew he was just subtly taking a picture of us. I think you can see my eyes, I’m going, “Really?”‘

Ollie said he had no idea who Nasser was because he hadn’t seen previous seasons of MAFS, and Tahnee had to tell him about his infamous reputation.

“Tahnee told me he was in a previous season. He took the pictures and then ducked out. I’ve never spoken to him in my life, but I wish him all the best,” he added.

It comes after Nasser, who is notorious for his big red carpet events, tried to get on camera while Tahnee and Ollie were filming Homestay Week.

While producers followed the young couple around Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Nasser harassed the crew into filming a scene with him.

He told Yahoo that it was clear to both him and Tahnee that Nasser hoped to appear on the show, and when this didn't work, he tried to take pictures with the couple in the background.

“Nasser saw them getting ready to film and followed them around Bondi, asking producers if he could do a scene with Ollie and Tahnee,” a source said.

“The crew said no and tried to get off him, but he crashed anyway and introduced himself. Ollie and Tahnee completely knocked him out and it was super awkward.”

Photos showed Nasser awkwardly standing behind Tahnee and Ollie as they spoke to producers while filming a scene in an op-shop.

But in a ruthless disapproval, all of Nasser’s footage was edited in post-production and he was not shown on screen at any point during Homestay Week.
