Michael Brunelli of MAFS was slammed for sharing a ‘disgusting’ video of him ogling other pregnant women while Martha Kalifatidis is in the room
Michael Brunelli’s latest online stunt has backfired spectacularly after he shared a video on Tuesday of him looking at racy online photos of pregnant women.
The tongue-in-cheek clip shows the Married At First Sight star scrolling through the images on Instagram as his pregnant fiancé Martha Kalifatidis sat nearby, seemingly unaware of what he was looking at.
During the skit, Martha casually asks, “Michael, what are you doing?” to which he replies, “Oh, just checking the basketball scores.”

At that moment, the personal trainer zoomed in on a photo of the apparently pregnant Emilee Hembrow, the sister of influencer Tammy Hembrow.
“Oh yes… who wins?” Martha asked as Michael scrolled to another photo of a pregnant woman.
“The Lakers,” he muttered.

The clip ended with Martha’s father Theo storming into the room and berating the couple for having “bricks in their heads,” but unable to explain why he was upset.
Martha then casually asked Michael to show her a picture of the Lakers’ gold jerseys, forcing him to quickly switch tabs on his phone and delete evidence of what he was actually looking at.

Michael, who lives with Martha and her parents in Melbourne, captioned the video: “This ended unexpectedly with Martha’s dad…wait for it [melting face emoji]’.
Michael took to Instagram on Wednesday to clarify that the clip was indeed fake after being labeled “disgusting” by fans who mistakenly believed it was real
Michael reposted a selection of comments from fans who were offended by his video
Some fans were outraged by the video, with one comment: ‘Wake up and break up’
Michael took to Instagram on Wednesday to clarify that the clip was indeed fake after being labeled “disgusting” by fans who mistakenly believed it to be real.
“So last night I posted a video…as a joke. On Insta, 99% of you got it that she “caught” me looking at other pregnant women [nervous laugher emoji],” he wrote, adding, “The throw-off was Theo, who was 100% real and unplanned.”
He also uploaded an alternate version of the skit as proof that it was set up.

However, Michael did admit that Theo’s cameo was completely real, but had nothing to do with the skit.
In a separate Instagram Story post, Michael explained that Theo was angry because he mistakenly thought Martha and Michael had secretly replaced his dining room table with a new one.
“It was actually a table we bought for our home in Sydney,” Michael explained.
“We had to avoid having it delivered there because we moved and then had it delivered here. And also we left the old table next to the new table and it almost ran into it. That’s it,” the reality star insisted.
