Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis has shared more photos of her newborn baby as she updates fans on her postpartum journey.
The 34-year-old and her fiance Michael Brunelli announced Monday night that they had welcomed their first child into the world.
Despite many fans speculating that the child would be named Giuseppe, the couple announced that his name was Lucius.
Sharing a black and white photo of the baby on Instagram on Wednesday, Martha wrote: “Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has messaged and left kind words about Lucius!
“We’re just kicking back and enjoying our little bubble, but we’ll be back with the baby spam soon.”

Martha first shared the news with her more than 600,000 followers by posting an adorable photo of the newborn in his crib at the hospital.

In the comments below the post, Michael, 32, clarified how to pronounce the boy’s name, writing “LOO-SHUS,” if you’re wondering.

The baby’s name comes as a surprise as many believed that Martha had leaked her son’s name earlier this month.
She posted on Instagram Stories to reveal the baby will have a classic Italian name, as well as sharing a page from a photo album she made at her baby shower over the weekend that seemed to name the boy.
Martha’s mother, Mary, had written in the book: “Dear Giuseppe, you are my first grandchild.”
She added at the end: ‘I love you, Giuseppe. I can’t wait to meet you.’

Giuseppe is the Italian equivalent of the name Joseph, and Martha revealed that she had chosen a name from Italy as the baby was conceived there.
This led many to believe that the baby would be named Giuseppe, but Martha and Michael opted for Lucius.
