Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis shared a health update after visiting her midwife six weeks after giving birth to her son.
The 34-year-old reality TV star revealed that she is “healing really well” but is suffering from a minor prolapse.
“We just got back from my six-week appointment with the midwife. Everything went very well. I had a pap smear and my stitches healed really well,” she said.
“I do have a little prolapse, but I think that’s from two hours of pushing, but she said it will probably heal on its own in a few weeks.”
“She also said I can start training, which is exciting. I can’t wait to start doing some exercises.’

In minor prolapse, organs in the pelvis slide down from their normal position into the vagina, causing a heavy, bulging or pulling sensation.
While not life-threatening, prolapse can cause pain, sexual dysfunction, and incontinence.
It is especially common in mothers because pregnancy and birth weaken the pelvic floor muscles. But menopause is also a trigger because hormonal changes can affect the elasticity and mass of the pelvic muscles.
Martha and her fiancé Michael Brunelli welcomed their son Lucius on February 27.

The couple was inundated with congratulations from their famous friends.

Martha’s pregnancy journey was not an easy one and the influencer disappeared offline before sharing any news she was expecting.
The couple announced in October that they were expecting their first child, months after the influencer had already become pregnant.
They explained that the reason for Martha’s prolonged absence from social media was that she was sick with excessive nausea and vomiting.
