MAFS’ Jesse Burford says there was a ‘bro code’ on-set as other grooms weigh in on the claims
MAFS’s Jesse Burford claims there was a ‘bro code’ on set, but he ‘wasn’t included’ – following the cheating scandal between his wife Claire Nomarhas and Adam Seed
The final season of Married At First Sight was certainly filled with drama, with many of the grooms coming under fire for bad behavior.
This includes Dan Hunjas caught slamming his wife Sandy Jawanda, Harrison Boon accused of cheating on his onscreen wife Bronte Schofield and Adam Seed cheating on Janelle Han with another bride.
Many of these scandals made the guys stick up for each other, leading the girls to believe there was a “bro code.”
Groom Jesse Burford, who was left heartbroken after his on-screen wife Claire Nomar kissed Adam, said he thinks in retrospect there “may have been a bro code” between some of the guys.
“I think in the girls’ minds it was all guys supporting each other, but that’s absolutely not true,” he said. 9Entertainment.

However, he believes there was a boys club with grooms Dan, Harrison and Cameron Woods.
The wedding celebrant, 30, added that he was never part of this boys’ club, especially after Adam betrayed him.
Harrison, 32, who got off to a bad start from the start of the show when it was revealed he had a girlfriend right before joining the experiment, disagrees with Jesse.

Rupert Budgen (pictured) said if there was a boys’ club it was between him and Ollie Skelton
He said the idea of there being a “bro code” is “ironic” and took a swipe at the girls’ friendships.
The Sydney resident added: ‘At least the guys in the experiment have been pretty tight all along. The girls in the experiment have been so fickle.’
The groom then hinted that Bronte and Lyndall’s friendship was fake as he said they would go weeks without even looking at each other.
Rupert Budgen, 27, who was unsuccessfully paired with Evelyn Ellis, 27, during the show, was also asked by the publication if there was a boys club on the final season of MAFS.
The nervous groom said if so it was between him and the unproblematic Ollie Skelton, 26, who is now one of his close friends.

While many of the brides on the show alluded to there being a “bro code” between the grooms, Sandy, 36, said some guys called each other names for their bad behavior.
After Dan was caught harming her in the infamous butt-dial scandal, Sandy was pleasantly surprised to have the support of the other grooms.
She said: “I was very impressed and I commend the men who spoke out and I think it’s important because it’s an example to other men that you need to denounce shitty behavior.
“Don’t be complicit, don’t stand by, don’t let it happen. Speak up.’
