Married At First Sight is set to reach new levels of drama next week when the cast returns to Bargo in the Wollondilly Shire for the annual couples retreat.
The retreat was meant to be a chance for couples to bond and work out their problems, but it seems the rowdy boyfriends had other plans.
Dramatic footage shows Cam Woods, Rupert Bugden and Ollie Skelton getting into what appeared to be a heated argument after cameras stopped rolling.
The dispute was sparked by a bizarre prank involving Daily Mail Australia journalist Ali Daher, who has been reporting on MAFS for years.
Woods came up with the idea of wearing a T-shirt personalized with a photo of Daher and pop star Harry Styles, a reference to his years as a celebrity autograph hunter.

The children’s argument, which may or may not also have been a joke, escalated when Woods reached for a glass of wine and threatened to break it. This was similar to the glass breaking incident from last year’s MAFS season involving Olivia Frazer and Dom Calarco (pictured).
But Bugden and Skelton stole the idea: they first printed the T-shirts, then wore them while filming MAFS in Sydney’s CBD.
What should have been a harmless inside joke soon turned into an argument, with Woods furious at both boyfriends for stealing his idea.

The boys’ argument, which may or may not also have been an elaborate prank, escalated when Woods reached for an empty wine glass and threatened to break it.
This was similar to the infamous glass breaking incident from last year’s MAFS season involving Domenica Calarco and Olivia Frazer.
Bugden then followed suit, grabbing a glass and engaging Skelton in a tense standoff, before the producers were forced to intervene.

Coincidentally, they were headed to the theater to see the singer-turned-actor’s new movie, Don’t Worry Darling.
In another bizarre coincidence, a busker was playing the Styles song As It Was on a violin as the couple walked down Pitt Street Mall.
