“I was shocked to see our relationship play out on screen. I remember thinking to myself, “I don’t have to worry about whether I’m going to be a villain, because. . [Claire] just said crazy things.’

“And that’s where I’m watching our honeymoon six months later, and they’re not showing any of that!”

While Jesse did not witness any first-hand favoritism by the production, he said he had a “weird sixth sense that something didn’t feel right” during filming.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Jesse recently revealed he was “shocked” to see how their tumultuous relationship played out on screen, portraying Claire as an angel despite her “crazy things” on set, such as “cheating play’ and ‘gaslighting’. ‘

“For some reason, they chose her as the angel of the season,” he said.

‘[Claire] is a supervillain on a silver platter, and they say, “No, we’ll take care of her.” It’s almost criminal. The imbalance and the injustice, I can’t even explain it to you, man,” he complained.

Jesse said he struggled to watch the show back, mainly because he didn’t have a support system to help him cope emotionally, nor anyone who could empathize with his experience.

Jesse explained that he stopped watching the show after episode four because of how he was portrayed as a “misogynist”, while forgetting to show Claire’s bad behavior during the honeymoon.
