Married At First Sight viewers have turned on Timothy Smith after he stormed off in an expletive-filled tirade following a tense conversation with Lucinda Light during Homestays week.
The wedding celebrant, 43, and the property mogul, 51, had a slow burn start to the show but have made progress in recent days after sharing a steamy kiss during a dinner party.
However, cracks in their relationship began to appear again in Monday’s episode when Lucinda went to stay at Timothy’s house in Melbourne and met his friends.
Doubts began to arise in Lucinda’s mind when Timothy’s good friend Shane mentioned how “in love” his friend usually is in a relationship, despite the fact that she hasn’t seen that side of him.
She was then upset when Timothy disappeared for seven hours only to storm off to catch an Uber upon his return in a curse-filled tirade, seemingly marking the end of their relationship.

Lucinda appeared to have given up on their romance as she said she wanted ‘more’, with viewers flocking to social media to show their support for her amid the apparent break-up scenes.
Fans turned on Timothy, labeling him a “man child” for storming off to get an Uber, and insisting Lucinda “deserves better” as they were critical of his tantrum.
They wrote: ‘Tim is an absolute man child. Lucinda deserves better;” ‘Okay Tim. take down your walls and get an Uber away from Lucinda who deserves better;’
“Lucinda, Tim is just an asshole who doesn’t like you! You’re too good for him! He will continue this gaslighting behavior and he will never give you anything!;”

The pair became embroiled in a tense argument after Timothy disappeared for seven hours, which ended with the groom storming off to get an Uber and Lucinda seemingly ending their romance.

‘I feel so sorry for Lucinda again. It’s just not fair to her, how much she patiently put into it. With Tim it’s like taking one step forward and two steps back. Such a pity;

During Monday’s episode, Lucinda was stunned to learn what Timothy is usually like in a relationship while speaking to his best friend Shane.
Shane described Timothy as a ‘doter’, adding: ‘He loves to take care of, he loves to have someone to look after and to be the protector.’
Lucinda seemed visibly shocked to hear his comments, expressing her disappointment that she hadn’t seen that side of her partner.

The next day, Lucinda took Timothy on a picnic in an attempt to discuss their problems, but things quickly became heated when they became involved in a huge argument.
“It’s a bit bittersweet to say this at this stage, but I’m starting to realize that I want a lot more for myself,” she admitted to the cameras.
Later that evening, Lucinda was left annoyed when Timothy disappeared for seven hours, despite saying he would only be gone for an hour.
The next day, Lucinda took Timothy on a picnic in an attempt to discuss their problems, but things quickly got heated when they got into a huge argument.
‘This whole experience has made me feel unwelcome. “I tried my best to get into your world, but Tim, you didn’t let me in,” Lucinda told her partner.
“Tim, I think you’re very moody and I understand it’s hard for you, but at the same time I need to have fun.”
However, Timothy said he felt emotionally drained. He shared his annoyance before storming off, saying he was ‘over’ their relationship.
‘I should never have delved into the past week, I’m actually just – I don’t know what you want, I can’t, I don’t know what else to do, I don’t know what to say, I ‘I don’t have words,” he said.

Lucinda seemed to confirm their split and then said: ‘I love Tim and wish and hope for the best, but what I get and what he has to give is respectfully not for me’
Then he walked away and when Lucinda called his name, he was overcome with rage and shouted, ‘I don’t want to fucking talk! Fuck me!’
Lucinda also seemed to have given up on their relationship when she said dejectedly, “I deserve better than this, I really do.”
She seemed to confirm the end of their romance, adding, “I love Tim and wish and hope for the best, but what I get and what he has to give is respectfully not for me.”
