MAFS Expert Reveals How Next Season Will Be Tougher For Contestants

Married at First Sight Australia relationship expert John Aiken has revealed that the contestants will “have to try harder” and deal with “extreme behaviour” in the show’s next season.

And the season is bound to be a torrid one, with John saying that there are ‘extreme alphas’ that ‘polarize the group’.

speaking to 9Nowhe explained, “I think what’s different about Season 10 is that the experts really have to try harder.”

“All the participants now know what to expect and their behavior can be quite extreme, so we really have a responsibility to report bad behavior and that’s exactly what we do.”

“We have some extreme alphas in the mix that really polarize the group, they’re not sure how to handle them,” he added.

“I think there are a lot of secrets and lies, and I think only the experts have a real challenge on our hands.”

Mel added that the upcoming season will have a “really fascinating group of people” and an “even more interesting couple dynamic.”

“I think season 10, as always, will be full of drama, but actually this time, full of some really beautiful love stories, I’m really excited about this group of participants in the experiment,” she said.

Trailers and promotional images of the cast members were released this week ahead of the season 10 premiere on Monday night.

But some eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but notice that the photos of the brides and grooms looked ‘washed out’ and not color corrected.

A user on the Tea Time Facebook group shared a series of images of brides Tahnee Cook and Bronte Schofield, as well as groom Harrison Boon.

The images on the left showed the MAFS participants with a gray-blue appearance and were the raw photos from the official press release.

The images on the right were the result of a “quick two-second temperature change” to demonstrate how a simple editing tool can make skin tone appear warmer.
