Married At First Sight’s Davina Rankin has spoken out about her shock split from husband of one year, Jaxon Manuel.
Davina, 31, opened up about the painful chapter in her life and confessed that the reality of the breakup was “heartbreaking.”
“We were just different people to the ones who tied the knot all those years ago,” Davina noted on her podcast, Who me?this week.
Davina explained that her number one priority is to be the best version of herself for their daughter.
“All that is essential now is that we can transform into the best version of ourselves for our sweet daughter,” she explained.

The former couple, parents of three-year-old daughter Mila-Mae, had been married less than a year.
Despite the amicable nature of their breakup, Davina confessed that the road wasn’t all smooth sailing.
“This journey has been one of the toughest challenges I have ever encountered. I have a whole family to consider and a desire to keep everyone happy,” she said.

Davina admitted she was disappointed that she was never able to enjoy her newly renovated home with her family.
“I had just renovated my beautiful childhood home, so never to be able to enjoy those new things in my new home,” she said.
“It started to make me feel sick, thinking I wouldn’t be able to be around this novelty.”

Davina confirmed that she had been separated from Jaxon for less than a year in May.
She released a statement confirming “speculation” about the breakup after fans noticed she had quietly unfollowed Jaxon on Instagram.
“Relationships are hard,” Davina wrote on Instagram. “Given the recent speculation, I feel I have to confirm that Jax and I have broken up.
“I’ll discuss this further at some point, but my current focus is learning to navigate my new normal while ensuring a seamless and loving transition to co-parenting for our daughter.”
Davina confirmed that she had been separated from Jaxon for less than a year in May. “Relationships are difficult… Given the recent speculation, I feel I must confirm that Jax and I have broken up,” she wrote.
