MAFS groom Cam Woods attacked by crocodile in Darwin while FaceTiming co-star: Shock footage shows moment animal lunges at derivative tradition
Married At First Sight star Cameron Woods narrowly escaped a crocodile attack near his home in Darwin this weekend.
The outback tradition, 27, was on a FaceTime call with MAFS bride Alyssa Barmonde when he was “nearly eaten” by the large reptile lurking in a swamp.
Footage Barmonde posted on TikTok shows Woods walking along the waterfront before unintentionally startling the animal.
The crocodile jumps out of the water and slides off in a terrifying near miss.
Barmonde, speaking to Woods from the safety of her Sydney car, appeared visibly shaken by the incident.

“POV: Cameron from MAFS FaceTimes you and almost gets eaten by a crocodile,” she captioned the dramatic footage.
Despite the dangerous-looking scene, Woods, who works as a carpenter in remote areas of the Northern Territory, insisted he was in no real danger.
‘It was just a verse [freshwater crocodile]. It would nibble me a bit, but it wouldn’t kill me, I hope,” he shared Yahoo lifestyle.

While many of Barmonde’s followers found the video darkly humorous, others said the crocodile encounter was karma for the way Woods treated his MAFS wife Lyndall Grace..
“Maybe the crocodile will get it next time,” one TikTok user commented, to which Cam sarcastically replied, “It would please me.”
“So he FaceTimes all the girls,” wrote another, referring to Woods’ sexting scandal with another MAFS co-star, Tayla Winter, that unfolded during the finale.
While many of Barmonde’s followers found the video darkly humorous, others said the crocodile encounter was karma for the way Woods treated his MAFS wife Lyndall Grace.

Woods and Barmonde both left the MAFS experiment single and heartbroken after entering the experiment with seemingly perfect relationships.
Woods’s romance with Lyndall fell apart when he abruptly withdrew his affections midway through filming. Barmonde was dumped by her husband Duncan James at last vows.
Barmonde scolded her followers for going too far, replying, “No need to say you wish someone were eaten by a crocodile.” Be nice’
