Like many others, Cam Merchant is spending time with his wife’s family this Christmas.

In the video, his wife’s father, Jules Robinson, was looking after him as he grilled meat for dinner.

“When your father-in-law watches you like a hawk when you barbecue,” she captioned the post.

The happily married father urged his followers to “stay calm, stay cool and don’t burn food this barbecue season.”

“We will get out of this together,” he added.

Cam and his wife Jules (who met on the sixth season of Married At First Sight in 2019) have revealed that a second child is at the top of both their Christmas wish lists this year.

Earlier this month, they told Women’s Day that they would love their two-year-old son Ollie to have a little brother or sister in the future.

“We would love to have had an announcement, but it hasn’t happened. But if there is a will, there is a way! Jules, 40, told the magazine.

Cam has a personal reason for wanting another boy or girl, as he is an only child himself and would have ‘loved a brother’ growing up.

But Jules admitted that the pressure already being put on to get pregnant again has been “exacerbated by fans” online.

Jules and Cam fell in love on the sixth season of MAFS, which aired in 2019.

They married in November of that year and welcomed Oliver in September 2020.
