Married At First Sight bride Eden Harper reveals her AFL legend father and why he was absent from wedding
She made her reality TV debut when she tied the knot with “husband” Jayden Eynaud on Wednesday night’s episode of Married At First Sight.
But Eden Harper is no stranger to the spotlight, thanks to her father Phil’s impressive sporting legacy.
Phil has been an integral part of the Adelaide Crows Football Club for 27 years, serving in various roles as an official and manager. He is currently head of women’s football at the club.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Eden, 28, revealed the moment she introduced her on-screen husband, Jayden, 26, to her famous dad.
“You’ll see whether or not my dad meets Jayden,” she teased.

“That will happen a little later.”
Eden also shared a sad detail about her wedding day.
“Unfortunately, my father was unable to attend the wedding that day,” she said.
This absence was attributed to the secretive nature of the show.

“Obviously at MAFS everything is so secretive and we only found out the date of our wedding a week before, and it was just too late for my dad to rearrange work commitments,” Eden explained.
Jayden and Eden are set to be one of this year’s standout couples, with production sources calling them early fan favorites.
