‘So, they decided to go out there by boring us to death?’ a third person asked sarcastically, while another person said, “Boring, just keep going.”
However, other viewers loved the episode and said it was great to see Duncan finally hold his own leaving Alyssa.
Well done, Duncan. You’re worth more and you’d be miserable with Alyssa,’ one person said.
I want to shake Duncan’s hand. So proud of you, do what’s best for you,’ wrote another.
Sunday night’s episode saw Duncan James leave his wife Alyssa Barmonde in tears after he brutally left her at their final vows ceremony.
Viewers on Twitter went into a frenzy over how “slow” the episode was and were quick to express their concern.
Alyssa, 35, told Duncan, 36, at the ceremony that she “wanted to fight for their relationship”, and was shocked when he said the feeling was not mutual.
I know what love and a great relationship is and we both deserve it. But our opinions on what a healthy relationship is seem to be separated,” she told him.
‘Maybe it’s our personalities or different mentalities. Either way, the gap seems too big to bridge. I don’t want to hurt you or keep hurting myself so I have to say goodbye.’
“F**k, I didn’t expect that,” Alyssa replied in surprise, before walking away from her husband in tears.
