One of the grooms on Married At First Sight has revealed that there’s a tell-tale sign to look out for if you’re worried your partner is cheating on you.
In Wednesday’s episode, Duncan James and his ‘wife’ Alyssa Barmonde were given a phone swapping task where they had to read each other’s recent messages.
Duncan told Alyssa that if your partner isn’t willing to show you their phone, it’s a sign they might have something to hide.

‘If someone isn’t willing to check their phone with you or always has it [face] downstairs or they always need to take a call on the balcony and close the door, everything is secret, you are breaking trust, “he said.
It comes just one day after the couple was given a ‘confession letter’ task to complete.
During the challenge, Duncan was left speechless when Alyssa confessed that she had once been the “other woman” in an extramarital affair.
On Wednesday’s episode, Duncan told Alyssa that if her partner isn’t willing to show her their phone, then it’s a sign they might have something to hide.
‘Duncan, what I’m going to tell you is really difficult. It is not easy for me to admit this part of my past, ”she began.
“It’s been a huge fear that I’ve been hiding, but if you really want this marriage to work, you need to know.”
“I was complicit in an affair, I was the other woman and I knew he was a married man,” she added.

Alyssa, who grew up Mormon in Utah, said, ‘It’s not something I’m proud of, but it’s something I’ve been able to learn from. I also know that now is something that will never happen again.
A wordless Duncan put his head in his hands and said, ‘I’m quite surprised.
‘I didn’t think you’d have a confession like this. I can understand people getting stuffy sometimes when they go out, but if you voluntarily got involved in something with someone who was married, then it’s not a mistake, it’s a choice.
“That is extremely poor behavior,” she scolded Alyssa.
It comes after Duncan was left speechless on Tuesday’s episode when Alyssa confessed that she had once been the “other woman” in an extramarital affair.
