As Married At First Sight returns to our small screens for its tenth season, former contestant Olivia Frazer has revealed how much contestants were paid to risk their hearts on the reality show.
The season nine girlfriend took to her Instagram Stories to answer fan questions about the show ahead of its new season premiere, with many curious as to how much money couples make.
According to Olivia, the contestants on her season last year were paid $1,100 a week during filming, which took place in Sydney for a few months.

The influencer comments come after Domenica Calarco, who also participated in the ninth season of the reality show, said that contestants are paid $150 per day, which would be $1,050 per week.
He revealed this figure in a live TikTok where he told followers: “I still had bills, I had rent to pay, and I had to pay, you know, whatever.”
Domenica has been very vocal about her opinion that the brides and grooms on Married At First Sight are not paid enough for what they have to go through, telling The Kyle & Jackie O Show that the money they received was “about Minimum salary”.
The reality star revealed that contestants on his series were paid $150 a week while filming took place in Sydney.
Telv Williams, who was a boyfriend on the show’s fifth season, said he was also paid $150 a day during filming, but contestants had to buy their own clothes for dinners and commitment ceremonies.
Speaking previously on her Instagram Story, she said: ‘You have to do all your hair and make-up. You have to make your own dress, buy your own clothes.
‘They pay you $150 a day, tax free. It’s bullshit, it’s rubbish. It’s all off your own back.
