Married At First Sight’s Evelyn Ellis Reveals The Surprising Way She Knew Co-Star Duncan James Liked Her
Married At First Sight bride Evelyn Ellis went public with her romance with co-star Duncan James earlier this month.
And on Friday, the marketing manager, 27, revealed she knew Duncan really liked her from his calm response to her out-of-control dogs.
“I know Duncan really loves me because he tolerates a lot of the chaos the dogs bring to the table,” she shared 9Entertainment.
“For example, we try to potty train the dogs at Duncan’s house, and every morning he wakes up with a little gift from the dogs,” she joked.
She added that while she and Duncan were different in many ways, they were still perfect for each other.

Duncan is like a labrador on a tennis court in the morning. He’s ready to have a conversation with me with my eyes closed,” she said.
“I wouldn’t change him though, but maybe compromise on the one thing,” she joked.
The wedding bells are already ringing for the lovebirds, despite their romance only debuting a few weeks ago.

The couple revealed this during an interview on Additional today they are already thinking about actually getting married.
When asked by host David Campbell if he would consider a real televised marriage to Evelyn — after they were both matched with other people last season — Duncan said he would be ready.
“Yeah, I’m excited,” said the cybersecurity salesperson, 36, with a smile, while model and marketing manager Evelyn, 27, kept her lips tight.

Duncan even suggested that MAFS relationship expert John Aiken could help arrange the formal reconnection.
The pair have been quietly dating for several months now, with the first signs of their love affair appearing at Sydney Mardi Gras in late February, but they didn’t go public earlier this month when they sat down for a telling interview with 9Now.
Duncan and Evelyn both claim that nothing happened between them while filming MAFS last year when they teamed up with Alyssa Barmonde and Rupert Bugden, respectively.
But it was nevertheless clear to viewers that sparks flew when they were paired briefly during the ‘Trade Swap’ task.
