MAFS AU: Duncan James brutally dumps Alyssa Barmonde at final vows

Married At First Sight’s Duncan James leaves his wife Alyssa Barmonde in tears after he brutally leaves her in their final vows: ‘I feel sick and betrayed’

Married At First Sight’s boyfriend Duncan James left his wife Alyssa Barmonde in tears during Sunday’s episode after he brutally dumped her at their final vows ceremony.

Alyssa, 35, told Duncan, 36, at the ceremony that she “wanted to fight for their relationship”, and was shocked when he said the feeling was not mutual.

I know what love and a great relationship is and we both deserve it. But our opinions on what a healthy relationship is seem to be separated,” she told him.

‘Maybe it’s our personalities or different mentalities. Either way, the gap seems too big to bridge. I don’t want to hurt you or keep hurting myself so I have to say goodbye.’

“F**k, I didn’t expect that,” Alyssa replied in surprise, before walking away from her husband in tears.

‘Walking away absolutely devastated me. I feel sick and betrayed,’ she told the cameras.

Daily Mail Australia understands that the pair have only texted “once or twice” since filming for the show wrapped, and things are worse than imagined.

“They’re not even in conversational terms right now,” a source revealed.

I know what love and a great relationship is and we both deserve it. But our opinions on what a healthy relationship is seem to be separated,” she told him.

“Shit, I didn’t expect that,” Alyssa replied in surprise, before walking away from her husband in tears.

“They both agreed that it was better not to do any joint interviews and they don’t even pretend to be together.”

‘Alyssa knew that things were never going to work out with Duncan, no matter how much he wanted to. They both live different lives.

The source claimed that the producers pressured Alyssa to say “yes,” when they “clearly knew Duncan would dump her.” It wasn’t fair.’
